Citu is a property developer on a mission to accelerate the transition to zero carbon cities. We build timber framed, zero carbon homes at the cutting edge of energy efficiency. By using MVHR systems to recycle heat from people and appliances, the heating requirements of a Citu Home are 10 times lower than the UK average. All of the Citu Home’s small heating needs are met with 100% renewable energy, provided via a community energy cooperative.
Our current development, The Climate Innovation District, is designed to reduce the carbon footprint of residents at every stage. Ultra-efficient homes sit in a car-free landscape, surrounded by open green space and looking out onto the River Aire. The City Centre location means you can walk or cycle to all the city’s amenities, further reducing your carbon footprint.
