Sky is the latest show home to launch at Accordia, Countryside Properties’ flagship development on Brooklands Avenue in Cambridge city centre. This light and spacious six bedroom villa has been creatively arranged across four split level floors by Alison Brooks Architects, with a light-filled atrium through the centre of the house to connect every level to each other. The four semi-detached houses inspired by the traditional villas along the avenue form part of a unique street frontage on Brooklands Avenue.

An asymmetric curved green copper roof spans the entire length of the house and creates a huge open plan family room on the top floor with an arched ceiling and glass wall, which floods the room with light. This informal space is incredibly flexible and creates a completely different feeling of space from the rest of the house.

In addition there is a separate first floor studio situated over the double garage, served by its own staircase and en suite facility that is perfect for a private guest suite, office or games room. This building also features a curved copper green roof, to give the private garden soft facades on both sides.

The kitchens feature a contemporary linear design with black gloss base units with cherry effect laminate and aluminium-style edging, and white gloss wall cupboards.
