My parents used the services of a green architect to design this house in the mid 1990s. Throughout their lives they have been conscious of
environmental issues and energy use and ensured that the house was designed with these factors in mind. It is a bright attractive home facing the
Cotswold hills, minutes from Waitrose and a stone’s throw from Stroud. This small market town has a bohemian feel, with cafes, galleries, markets and bookstores. Stroud Farmers' Market is multi-award winning and is well known as one of the biggest, busiest and most popular farmers' markets in the UK. It has been featured in most of the national papers.
The house is located in a small close and is completely chain free because my parents have relocated to the South coast for health reasons and to be nearer to family. The back garden is secluded and accessed through the main downstairs room. It is bijou and easy to care for. There is also a
substantial workroom (accessed from the garden) and storage under the stairs leading from the balcony down to the garden.
It's a lovely property and well worth a view.
Incidentally there is secure bike storage in the garage.
