Super Energy Efficient home completed in 2014 this high energy efficient home overlooks the quaint village of Lugnacco and has a panoramic view of Monviso. Located in a valley in the foothills of the Italian Alps, this Piemontese village is well known for its proximity to nature. In the valley, there is excellent hiking, rock climbing, cross country skiing and cycling. Golfing is available 7 km away. In less than an hour there are five world class ski resorts. It is common to see livestock being herded along the cobblestone streets with their bells ringing. The area is famous for “Toma” cheese and local produce is available from the numerous village markets throughout the year. The annual orange fights of the famous Ivrea Carnavale are not to be missed.
The area is well served by two International airports, Caselle in Torino - 62 km and Malpensa in Milano – 128 km.
Ivrea is the nearest city (15 km) which has about 25,000 people. Local buses operate throughout the day from Lugnacco to Ivrea. You can board trains in Ivrea for various Italian cities and connections can be made from Torino for anywhere in Europe. The TGV and the Italian high speed trains connect in Torino.
The property is 15 minutes from the A5 Autostrada which leads north to the Monte Bianco tunnel to France and the Gran St. Bernardo tunnel to Switzerland. To the south and east to all points in Italy.
