The kitchen and bathrooms are due to be fitted in late June or early July. Since the focus of the project is on the eco measures, we have only budgeted for standard IKEA fittings. If you put down a deposit before mid June, we’re very willing to use it to upgrade to a specification of your choosing, provided of course that this is reflected in the final price. Similar considerations apply to paints etc.

* Costs of heating - Not known but Passivhaus heating cost typically <£100 PA and PV could make the house energy negative.
**Accreditation - We hope to be Passivhaus certified, otherwise Enerphit certified. If we don’t make Passivhaus we’ll come as close as possible rather than just trying for Enerphit.
